It is fairly impossible that you will have a file with the file name extension .xvid. Probably, your file is named something along the lines of 'Filename.XviD.AVI'. In fact, there are no XviD files per say but many different common multimedia containers that can store XviD video content. The most common containers you will find is the AVI, OGM and MKV.
